Do you know every month has a major recognized holiday except one?  That’s right.  Every month, except August, has a recognized and nationally celebrated holiday.  Luckily some very clever folks have found less traditional holidays to celebrate in August.  A few of my favorites are National Underwear Day, National Potato Day, and thankfully, National Sponge Cake Day!
